Summer
Employment: The
QBBE are looking for students to work as Teacher's Assistants for the summer. There is a great need for young men to apply.
The teachers assistant helps the teacher in the classroom with the student’s who are notable to work independently. They are often asked to work with individual students by assisting them to read,
write, do math etc. and most of all motivate them. The students hired, must be attending school and must not be working more
than 30 hours a week at another job. This is a government program and is municipally funded. The students are
distributed in the 3 areas where we have our 3 summer schools. LaSalle, Cote-Des- Neiges, and Ville St.Laurent

How to Prepare For an Internship: Securing
an internship should be treated in the same way as obtaining a full-time job. Internships can be competitive and the recruitment
process should be taken seriously. Finding the internship that’s right for you requires patience, research and a plan
of action. You need to prove your suitability to the hiring committee in terms of your personality, preparedness and maturity
in handling new and challenging experiences in any environment. Participation in student life would
be a useful experience to highlight on your internship application, as would past summer jobs or volunteer and community experience.
In addition, it is necessary to assess your skills, interests and values so that your direction is clear.
